Inquest Story
AT an inquest which was adjourned at Scunthorpe on Tuesday of Keith, Kelly (16), of Cedric Avenue, Conisbrough, his father, Ernest Kelly, colliery deputy, said he thought Keith was going to Wakefield when the boy left their home at Conisbrough on Easter Monday. Later he learned that Keith had been in a road accident at Scunthorpe.
Keith died in hospital after a motor-cycle on which he was a pillion passenger had been in a collision with a car driven by Mrs. Alma Reveley, of “Mere Crescent, Scunthorpe, on the Doncaster-Grimsby trunk road.
Mr. Kelly said he had frequently forbidden his son to ride on the back of motor-cycles.
He said he did not know the motorcyclist, Oliver Limer (19), of New Hill, Conisbrough, who was sent home after hospital treatment.
