Conisbrough Scored 210 too Many!

Conisbrough’s biggest win in the Doncaster League this season was at the expense of Yorkshire Main on Saturday whom they beat by 210 runs.

Conisbrough declared at 234 for 5 after Ridgeway had made 67 not out, Chadwick 60 not out, Hepworth 28 and Hirst 25.  Chadwick and Hirst took over the bowling and put the Edlington side out for 24. Chadwick had 7 for 14 and Hirst 3 for 10.

The second eleven, at home to Doncaster Gas Works, also won, by 51 runs. Marston scored 23 in Conisbrough’s 80 and Captain Fred Skinner took seven Gas Works’ wickets for 11 runs in their reply of 29.
