Conisbrough Castle Club
Notwithstanding the strike at Denaby and Cadeby collieries, this club continues to prosper, and at the present time as a rollcall of 340 members.
Alterations have been made of an extensive character since the club was formed, is now clear exceeding £1000, and further, the premises have been purchased from the owner by the club, which indicates success and questionable.
The attractions at this the old Institute have been bought by the committee of the club, who have secured some good bargains, the chief being very good billiard table.
Further developments may be looked for when peace is again restored in our industrial life.
