Conisbrough Hospital Board
Doncaster and Mexborough Joint Hospital Board on Wednesday accepted the Rushcliffe Report in its entirety.
Coun. Mrs. E. Tait said she thought the Board “deserved a bouquet,” because they had been paying the salaries recommended by the Report, and it would affect them very little. Coun. G. Morley also congratulated the Board, and Coun. Mrs. Jackson said that now they could see the truth behind the words of the Medical Superintendent when he told them that they should be proud of the excellent conditions existing for the staff at the Hospital.
Admissions in May were 23, including thee Conisbrough four.
A recommendation of the House Committee that Coun. J. H. White (Mexborough) be appointed chairman, and Coun. Mrs. Jackson vice-chairman, was approved.
