Conisbrough Man’s Sudden Death
After Fit of Coughing
Harold Watkin (47) return home from work as the steel director with the English Steel Corporation in Sheffield on Sunday to his home in Daylands Avenue, Conisbrough. But at 10 o’clock, he was suddenly seized with a violent fit of coughing, and within minutes had collapsed and died.
Mr Watkin, had been under supervision of a works.of six weeks but continued to work normally.
Mr Watkin, who came to Conisbrough from Wales in 1930 leaves a widow and five children.
The District Coroner (Mr W.H.Carlisle) was informed of the death, but decided that an inquest was not necessary.
