Accident to a Conisborough Youth
On Wednesday afternoon Tom Mills, son of Mr. Thos. Mills, labourer, whilst leaving his employment at Cadeby New Pit, fell on a stump on the hauling bank and injured his side.
He is progressing favourably under Mr. Gibbs’ attendance.
York Tourist Society
The York Tourist Society paid their annual visit Conisborough and neighbourhood on Wednesday. The party numbered 15.
They arrived from Doncaster by road, paid a visit to the Castle, had luncheon at the Star Hotel, and then proceeded to Roche Abbey and Tickhill.
