Conisbrough School Headship

” Short-listed ” at County Hall, Wakefield, on Friday for the headship of Conisbrough Morley Place Infants’ School, vacant through the retirement of Miss Alice Finch, were:

Miss Joyce Beachill, headmistress of Great Houghton Church of England Infants’ School; Miss Beatrice Say, headmistress of Kilnhurst Council Infants’ School; Mrs Phyllis M Winter, assistant mistress at Waverley Infants’ School, Balby, Doncaster; and Miss Gwendolyn Myton of Tewkesbury (Gloucestershire).
