Sewage Scheme Extension
Conisbrough Taking All Steps

The Ministry of Housing and Local Government have replied to the application by Conisbrough Urban Council for consent to carry out its scheme for alterations and extension of the Denaby Lane Sewage Disposal Works with a loan sanction of £97,838

The Ministry have told the council that they consider it desirable that wide publicity be given to the scheme by a public meeting or by advertising in the local press. If objections were received the ministry would then consider calling the public enquiry.

The Council have been pressed by the Yorkshire Ouse River Board to carry out the scheme. The council have decided that proposal should be advertised in local newspapers and the clerk should take all necessary steps to further the carrying out of the scheme.
