Conisbrough’s “Roving” P.c. Back from Cyprus
Conisbrough “roving” policeman, 38-years-old P.c. Dyson, on Friday resumed duties at Conisbrough section after two years in Cyprus.
P.c. Dyson of Windmill Avenue, served in Nicosia with a British Unit. Married with three sons, John, Frank and Geoffrey, he has been in the Police Force for over 13 years.
He was stationed at Halifax and latterly Wombwell before coming to Conisbrough. A Flying Officer during the war, he gained the D.F.M. and D.F.C. while serving with bomber command.
