Consiborough Hospital Sunday
Several committee meetings have been held in connection with this movement to make necessary arrangement for their annual demonstration on Consiborough Feast Sunday.
A well-attended meeting was held on Tuesday evening last, Councillor Robinson in the chair, for the purpose of selecting chairman and speakers.
The usual bands are to be invited, and a band from Thorne, volunteered their services, which was willingly accepted. Mr. H. J. Sharp has accepted the position of conductor, and is preparing a number of hymns specially for the occasion, and judging from the unanimity and determination of the committee, the demonstration promises to be a through success.
Messrs. T. Senior and F. Franklin were appointed collectors. Mr. H. Fowler has been appointed secretary, and Mr. J. Maxfield assistant secretary.
