Conviviality at Conisborough

At the Police Court on Tuesday the following persons were dealt with for drunkenness at Conisborough:—

Fredk. Wright, employed at Denaby Main Colliery, fined 10s., including costs, P.C. Ambler proving the case;

Benjamin Hodgson, labourer, fined 5s. and 8s. 6d. costs; went to Wakefield for a week in default of payment (P.C. Bearpark gave evidence);

Mary Ann Fletcher, widow, mulcted in a similar sum, and, being unable to pay, also went “down the line” for a like period (P.C. Jarvis had apprehended her).
