Old Denaby
Quiet but Comprehensive

old Denaby’s coronation celebrations will be on a less elaborate scale than those of its neighbours, but nevertheless a compressive programme has been arranged that will appeal to both the children and the adults. Here it is:

Wednesday

Morning
Service in the village schoolroom, conducted by the Rev C Woodhouse, followed by a fancy dress parade through the village.

Afternoon
Children’s sports will be held, after which there will be a tea in Mr Downing’s barn
