County Libraries
There are about 200 users of the County Library in Denaby, and they are to be provided with accommodation there if the project matures. The Council is in negotiation with the Welfare Trustees to take over a large room in the Welfare Institute, with a separate entrance from the general one, to use as a library. This is expected to mature immediately.
There is a scheme to erect a new Library building in High Street, with stone facings to harmonise with the surroundings, in the near future, but that, one understands, is still under consideration.
