Cow Ran Amok

Mrs. Clara Stacey, aged 60, of Athelstane Road, Conisboro’, was badly gored by a cow which ran amok in Doncaster on Saturday.

The animal was being taken to the market about noon, when it broke loose in St. Sepulchre Gate, entering a milliner’s shop and the York County Savings Bank premises, and doing considerable damage before it was caught and destroyed by a veterinary surgeon.

Mrs. Stacey and several other persons High Street and Priory Place were injured. Mrs. Stacey, who was gored about the legs, was removed to the Doncaster Infirmary.
