Cricket Liking for Seventies

That pleasing bat, George Gibbs, former Barnsley and Denaby United footballer, now prominently associated with Hickleton Colliery Boys, Club has a cricket liking for the figure ’70.

On Saturday he scored another attractive 73 for Hickleton in their home Council fixture with Castleford. It was his third 70 in a row. A week before he hit 74 not out against Barnsley and 70 against Appleby Frodingham over Bank Holiday.
