Driver John Crompton (20), eldest son of Mr and Mrs Crompton, 1 Copley Avenue, Conanby, is at present serving in England. He enlisted in the Territorials and at the outbreak of war was called up. His father served in the Great War nd his grandfather in the Boer War. Driver Crompton ws formerly in the employ of Messrs. Appleyard and Lumb of Conisborough.
