Cruelty to a Dog.

Chas. Rogers, Denaby, was summoned for cruelly illtreating a dog belonging to Robert Dobbells, of Denaby, on the 23rd ult.

Mr. Parker-Rhodes represented the complainant.

The parties both had dogs, which fought at a public-house. They were separated but again fought, when the defendant kicked the complainant’s dog and it died soon afterwards.
