Curious Accident

Mr Tom Stacey (70) of Butterbusk Farm, Conisborough, one of the best known and most popular agriculturists in the South Yorkshire district, is in the Royal Infirmary suffering from head injuries and shock.

He was driving a horse and trap along High street, as number of cows were being driven out of Silver street into Cleveland street when one the animals slipped on the road underneath the wheels of the trap.

In its efforts to rise it overturned the vehicle, throwing out Mr. Stacey on to his head.
