Cycling With Hands In Pockets

Conisbro’ clerk, Frank Oldfield, was at Doncaster on Saturday, fined 10s. for riding a bicycle dangerously.

P.c. Savage said Oldfield was riding the bicycle at a very fast speed and with his hands in his pickets in Sheffield Road, Warmsworth on April 27th. There was a lot of traffic and on the same morning there was a fatal accident on that road. It was a cold and foggy morning.

Oldfield said his hands were cold.
