Damage by Boys
Paul Guest, a youth, of Hickleton, was fined 10s., including costs, for damaging clover belonging to Thomas Reed. Defendant was seen to run through the hedge into the clover field and laying it all down. He had been warned several times before.
James Henry Denna, Conisborough, was charged with damaging a fence belonging to Wm. Smith, farmer, of Conisborough.
Wm. Smith said that he saw defendant cut a holly bush out of a hedge on the Denaby road, and made a gap of about one yard. There had been so much damage done that complainant had had to bring the case before the magistrates.
Defendant was mulcted in a sum of 10s., including costs.
