Damaging Growing Grass

Robert Cooper, sicklesmith, Conisborough was summoned for damaging some growing grass, the property of John Gillott, corn factor, Conisborough.

Complainant stated that on the 22nd ult he found the defendant wandering about his fields gathering mushrooms.

The damage was laid at 2d

Defendant admitted being in the field.

The Bench ordered defendant to pay a penalty of 1s 2d damages and 15 shilling costs or in default 14 days
