Damaging Growing Grass at Conisbro’.
Two youths, named Wm. Wardle and Jas. Wood, Denaby colliers, were charged with damaging growing grass, at that place, belonging to Mr. Caleb Kilner, on the 2nd inst. P.C. Thurlby proved the case.
Five other youths had been brought up, and fined the week before, and it appeared these two had given false names.
Consequently the bench fined each of them 5s.; costs 10s. 9d.; damage 1d. each.
