Damaging Turnips at Denaby.

John Raynor, Arthur Kaye, and George Dunning, boys of Denaby, were summoned by Walter J. Robinson for damaging growing turnips at Denaby, on 27 September.

Mr F. Allen, solicitor, appeared for the complainant, and stated that on the date in question the defendants were seen by PC Barnett pulling turnips up in a field belonging to complainant.

The complainant had suffered great damage through lads stealing turnips.

Fined 1s, damage 2s and costs 8s.
