Death of Mr Ben Kelly
Past and present followers of Denaby United will regret to learn of the death, which occurred at Lancing (Sussex) on Saturday Mr Ben Kelly (76), a former financial secretary and chairman of the club, when recognition of his devoted services to the club, was elected a life member.
Mr Kelly, who move to Lancing, when he lived at Steyning House, Middle Road, two years ago, lived for many years at Crookhill Road, Conisbrough. At lancing he resided in the same area as his only son, Mr Kenneth Kelly, a teacher at lancing high school stop
Mr Kelly, a shrewd football administrator, served Denaby United faithfully, and was highly respected by his fellow officials, Denaby players and Tickhill Square supporters.
