Death of Mr. Eli Weston, of Denaby Main
We regret to chronicle in our obituary the death of Mr. Eli Weston, only son of Mr. Thos. Weston, the respected landlord of the Reresby Arms, Denaby Main.
The deceased, like his father, was highly respected, and had a host of friends, all of whom regret his demise. He has been in the grip of that dread scourge, consumption, for some time, and for fully twelve months it has been evident that he was failing. A change of air, and every other conceivable remedy was applied, but to no purpose, and death took place on Monday.
The deceased was 33 years of age, and was single. The interment will take place on Sunday next, at 3.30, at Mexboro’ cemetery, and the arrangements are in the hands of Mr. John Millwood, undertaker, Mexboro’.
Mr. Weston has received many tokens of sympathy for which he is grateful. The blow is a very sad one, and as deceased was the only son, the loss is all the more felt.
