Denaby Admitted to Midland League
The application of the Denaby Football Club for admission to the Midland League was heard at Nottingham last Saturday, and was backed up by Messrs. Dunn and Wright.
Denaby were admitted, and a telegram announcing that fact was displayed at the club-house on Saturday evening, and caused great satisfaction amongst the club’s supporters.
It is to be hoped the sport-loving public will appreciate this bold stroke by the Denaby club by according their patronage during the next season.
If the club is to maintain its newly-found position, it will be through the assistance of the public, as the gates averaged last season will be insufficient to carry on a Midland League team.
