Conisbrough Council Decisions

Conisbrough Urban Council have decided to ask the Ministry of Local Government and Planning to receive a deputation to discuss the Council’s application for loan sanction in respect of Denaby Baths. The deputation will consist of the Baths Committee chairman Coun. G. Cheshire, Coun J.T.E.  Collins, the Clerk (Mr. R. W. Birch) and Surveyor.  The relevant documents have been forward to the Ministry.

Consideration has been given by the Council’s Allotments Committee to details of land which will be required for the purpose of installing the new infiltration plant at the baths.

A recommendation of this Committee that the Surveyor and Parks Superintendent interview the tenant of allotment number 53 on Wadworth Street allotments and afterwards notify him formally that part of this land will be required in connection with the baths improvements, was approved by the Council on Monday.
