Denaby Bouts.

At the Drill Hall, Denaby Main, on Saturday, Joe Leighton (Doncaster) beat Elky (Denaby) in the seventh round, the referee stopping the bout in his favour. These lads had met twice before, each gaining a verdict.

Young Griffin (Denaby) beat McDonald (Conanby) over four rounds.

In the middle-weight competition G. Smith (Denaby) beat Young Harrop (Conisborough.’) in the brat round. The latter gave lot weight and the bout was stopped the referee. Hall (Denaby) drew with Kid Fletcher (Conisborough) over three rounds.

In the semi-final Tommy Hall retired with a damaged eye in the first round.

Smith and Fletcher will meet in the final in two weeks” time. Mr. Tommy Stokes was the referee.
