Denaby Boxing Ban.

In the past the Denaby Welfare Baths have been used for boxing tournaments. but it is understood that the Conisborough U.C. who are shortly taking over the baths, are placing a ban upon boxing.

It suggested that roller skating should substituted.

Interviewed, Mr. T. Hill, chairman of the Welfare trustees, said they had other accommodation for boxing, if necessary but during the summer bouts were to be staged beneath one of the stands of the Denaby United football ground.
