Denaby’s tour
Denaby began their annual tour on Saturday, when they played Mansfield on the Mansfield ground. Rain spoilt this match when an interesting situation was developing.
On Saturday Denaby knocked up the excellent total of 216, Robinson being top scorer with 46. Greenwood, Tibbles and Shoesmith also did well with the bat. Mansfield had last two wickets, and were still 155 runs behind when the rains came, and the match had to be abandoned.
