Bolton took 2 hours and 40 minutes over their 154 at Bolton on Saturday and the season opened inauspiciously with a draw.
Dick Probert, playing against his old team bowled extremely well and finished with 7 wickets for 31 runs. He took the last two with consecutive halls.
Denaby made a good effort, thanks to a productive second wicket stand by Vollans and Williams, but bad light curtailed play by 15 minutes
