Denaby’s need of further bowling reinforcements now that Larke has gone to Armthorpe was demonstrated in this opening match at Dinnington on Saturday.
The batting made a fair show and Worthington marked his return by the highest individual contribution to the side’s total.
Voce took four Denaby wickets for 49 runs. Dinnington were given a useful start by their opening pair and won comfortably with six wickets in hand.
