At Silverwood on Saturday Denaby made the biggest total of the day and Foster (picture), making the second century of his career, – the first was scored off the LNER Bowling last summer – contributed nearly half their runs. He hit 19 fours.

Though Haigh made a big effort for Silverwood – he hit nine boundaries – they were well beaten

Wathey took four of their wickets for 19 runs. For Silverwood Burgin took five for 56.
