Denaby and Cadeby 250 for 8 (dec) Dinnington 99 for 3
After three maiden overs, Denaby’s opening batsmen put on 123 runs in 75 minutes against Dinnington. Tibbles hit one 6 and 12 fours and Greenwood had one six and Shoesmith two sixes.
When Worthington was bowled by Downes the bail was knocked 39 paces, as stepped by Atter, who retrieved it, and in dismissing Greenwood, Dunn went on his knees and brought off a magnificent catch from a hard low drive.
