Denaby and Cadeby Main Collieries Debentures
The Denaby and Cadeby Main Collieries, near Rotherham, announce the issue of £70,000 4½ “A” or “B” debenture stock at par, in amounts of £50, or in multiples of £50.
The issue is part of a sum of £300,000 authorised on the 3rd of March, 1897, of which the company did not issue more than two-thirds. Since then they have expended a sum of £310,653 15s. in general development, and they have thus decided to issue the remaining £100,000, part of which has been already subscribed privately by the shareholders.
The nominal capital of the company is £800,000, a fourth of which is in 6 per cent cumulative preference shares of £10 each, and the remainder in ordinary shares of £100 each.
