Denaby & Cadeby Main United Cricket Club

I am pleased to bear that the Denaby and Cadeby Main United Cricket Club is in a very flourishing condition.

At the annual general meeting I am told that the annual balance sheet shown a balance in hand of about fifty pounds. Many a club would be thankful to be in the same position.

The club has again decided to engage a “pro.” and I am told that Luther Robinson, who has been engaged as professional for several years, at Sale, Manchester, has decided to settle down in with his brother at Denaby and that he will assist the Denaby Club in their engagements next season.

So if Denaby are successful in getting the services of a good “pro.” they will have a formidable team next year.

The secretary tells me that the work of preparing the new  ground is being rapidly pushed on.
