At Doncaster West Riding Court on Saturday, Thomas Jones, collier, Denaby, for playing at pitch and toss, was fined 20s., including costs.
Stephen Whitehouse, collier, Denaby, for refusing to quit, fined 30s., including costs.
Messrs. Kilner Brothers, glass bottle manufacturers, Conisbro’, for employing a lad named George Silverwood, contrary to the provisions of section 27 of the Factory and Workshops Act, 1878, had to pay 36s., including costs.
