Sunshine and snow storms played, a great part in the match at Toll Bar on Saturday.
All through P.M. were outplayed. The five defensive play. of E. Senior and Dolan (picture), the Church half-backs,was a feature of the game.
The church were the cleverer side and showed better marksmanship. They were best served at halfback in which department Senior Was outstanding for sound tactics and accurate distribution. He and his colleagues maintained close touch with the attack. Dolan, his partner on the right, is proving himself the Church’s utility man He used to play forward.
The Church goal scorers were. Humphries (2), Hammond (2), Lever and F. Senior.
