Denaby’s Easy Win.
Denaby, with the assistance of Wright and Robinson, gained an easy victory over Maltby, scoring 93 for one in reply to Maltby’s total of 74. Wright made 55 not out and J. Smith 37 not out.
For Denaby, Wathey took 6 for 19.
Easy For Conisbrough.
Conisbrough brought off another smart victory when they defeated British Ropes. Thanks to Hepworth (48, including five fours), L/Cpl. Pointer (24), Williams (90), Conisborough scored 121, and dismissed their opponents for 68 (Mason 26).
For Conisbrough, Hepworth had 6 for 26 and Hirst 4 for 23.
