Denaby Drunks

Michael Roach, miner, Denaby, was summoned for having been drunk at Denaby on July 23.

Police constable Lancaster, in stating the case, said he found Roach helplessly drunk in Doncaster Road, had to assist him to his home.

The defendant, who did not appear was fined five shillings and costs.

Samuel Fudge, miner, Denaby, was charged with having been drunk and disorderly at Denaby on July 28. The defendant pleaded guilty and said he had got a drop too much on the trip.” He had been locked up 19.

A fine of 2s 6d was imposed.
