Denaby Garden Party
A very successful garden party was held on Tuesday in the Vicarage grounds.
Tea was served on the lawn by the Bible Class Members. There were a variety of stalls and all were well patronised.
During the evening there was a display of dancing by girls. Musical and dramatic items were contributed by Mr. A. T. Allaby, Mr. T. Holcroft, Misses E. Eugledow, E. Wilkinson, A. Willis, F. Soar, M. Barker, M. Senior, and the Rev. H. Lee.
The Ambulance Rand played for Dancing. At dusk the grounds were illuminated by Electric lamps.
The effort had been organised by the Parish Church Council
