Denaby Main Co-operative Society.

A meeting of the members of the above society was held on Monday evening at the New Schoolroom, Denaby Main.

A tea was provided which was attended by upwards of 100 persons. A meeting followed, and addresses were delivered by Messrs. Chambers, Rose, Crump, J. Dixon, Dainty, Blunt, W. Chambers, Sylvester, Holdsworth, Kirk, and Taylor.

Mr. Holdsworth, the secretary, stated that there were 72 members, and that there had been an increase from £46 to £80 weekly in the trade carried on at the stores since the commencement of the society’s operations.
