Denaby Main Colliery
Arrangements are now practically completed for the reopening of Denaby Main Colliery, which has been closed since Christmas, in consequence of the disastrous fire in the engine-shed, which caused the destruction of a considerable portion of property.
The headgear has been replaced with massive iron girders, on which pulley wheels for the cage are now being got in readiness in order that the miners may descend the shaft.
Our correspondent adds that the miners and their families are grateful to the public for their generous subscriptions during the stoppage of work
