The Denaby Main Colliery Strike.

On Friday evening, Mr. W. Chappell and a deputation waited upon the manager of the Denaby Main Colliery, with a view of bringing the present dispute to a close.

They were, however, unsuccessful, the manager refusing to reinstate the check-weighman whom he discharged, and the dispute will therefore be prolonged. A good deal of distress prevails amongst those who are out of work.
