Denaby Main Institute
We are pleased to hear that the institute at Denaby, which was opened under such auspicious circumstances, continues to make further progress in the village.
In addition to a valuable library and a well-stocked reading room, the members of the institute have subscribed amongst themselves the necessary shares for an excellent billiard table, which has been recently opened for use in a building specially erected by the Colliery Company, and fitted up free of cost on a site communicating with the rooms previously given for the purposes of the institute by the company
