Denaby Man Continues with Injured Shoulder.

At the Miners’ Welfare, Denaby Main, last night, Bert Barlowe (Conisborough) beat Butcher Oldfield (Rossington) on points, in a return bout of ten rounds.

In another ten-rounder, Pete Birkes (Denaby) beat Hugh Sharples (Denaby) on points. In the seventh round Sharples tore a muscle of his left shoulder, but pluckily carried on to the end.

Albert Davies (Rossington) beat T. Kelly (Conisborough) on points, six rounds, and A. Kelly (Conisborough) knocked out Wigley (Denaby) in the second round.

An interesting three-rounds contest was given by the Bicknell Midgets.
