Denaby Miner Amok.
James Higgins, miner, 61, Cliff View, Denaby, was charged at Doncaster, on Saturday, with being drunk and damaging glass windows on August 5th.
P.c. Howarth said he saw defendant kick a pane out of the window of his (defendant’s) house which was owned by the Colliery Company.
He was drunk, using obscene language and shouting. Witness was compelled to lock up Higgins as he refused to go into the house. Two panes which defendant broke were valued at 14s.
Higgins admitted the offences and was fined 9s for being drunk and 20s for the damage to the windows.
