Denaby Miner’s Assault
William Clarke, a miner, of Denaby, was summoned at Doncaster, yesterday, by Bernard Gibbs, landlord of the Denaby Main Hotel, for assault and for doing damage to a pint glass valued at 2s. 6d.
Clarke, who was fined £2 for the assault and for the damage, said he had an argument with Davis and had been struck.
He also said he was knocked and kicked in. the face.
