Denaby Miners Injured

Yesterday, two miners were admitted to the Mexborough Montagu Cottage Hospital, suffering from injuries received through falls of coal.

One, Tom Quigley, of Denaby, whilst working at the Denaby pit, sustained a fractured thigh, and the other, John Coley, of Denaby, compound fractured leg.

Both men were attended by Dr. Twigg, and are progressing as favourably as can be expected.
