Denaby – Miner’s “Mix Up” in a Train
At the Doncaster West Riding Court on Saturday, John Gerraghty, miner, of Denaby, pleaded not guilty to a charge of obstructing the stationmaster at Conisboro’, Mr. Charles Richards.
It appeared that defendant took part in a general mix-up in a third-class compartment, and on getting out of the train at Conisboro’ he persisted in attacking other men.
He was very excited and not sober, and during the trouble a brick was thrown through the carriage window.
A fine of 20s. was imposed.
